I'm Rashad

Hi I am Rashad. I am a father, writer and an entrepreneur. Born and raised in Azerbaijan, studied in England, France & United states. Upon graduating with Bachelors degree from City university London & CASS Business school, I was on the first flight to Baku, Azerbaijan. I was hungry, not for power or money. I was hungry to be able to finance my dreams & have the freedom of choice. I wanted to be an entrepreneur & make money on my own terms.

Within a decade I founded companies in industries like, consumer electronics, fast food, printing, consulting, advertisement, logistics, education, communications and tech. Some of them reached the end of their cycle, some shut down, some still operating & growing. Since I was in my 20s I miraculously surrounded myself with extraordinary people, who helped me to become what I am today.

For all my activities in business world, I have experienced appreciation, criticism, recognition, awards, wins and losses. I am very grateful for all those experiences, chances I got & lessons I learned.

In 2019 I started to write, since that day I could not call myself a writer. Up until recently. They say “the writer learns more than the reader” & it is the absolute truth. The learning curve I achieved with this craft, outshined all my previous experiences. Although this journey started as part of my personal branding strategy, it is not so anymore. This has become my passion & profession. Today I write solely about my experiences with the outside world & the battles I have within. I am a peaceful warrior holding a flashlight. I have a dream of creating of something with an eternal value.

I do not give advice or direction. I am holding a flashlight, leaving a footprint & sharing my own journey at every crossroad.

“The greatest gift you can give someone is your own personal development. I used to say, ‘If you will take care of me I will take care of you.’ Now I say, ‘I will take care of me for you, if you will take care of you for me.’”
